THE REALITY FOR MANY SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS

Running a small business can be very rewarding - but it can also feel extremely overwhelming, uncertain and lonely at times, especially in a challenging economic climate, when many owners feel pressure to cut costs and carry everything alone.

Many small business owners reach a point where they feel stuck, unsure how to grow, or overwhelmed by the day-to-day demands of running their business.

You might be:

  • Carrying too much on your shoulders

  • Unsure what to prioritise or where to start

  • Reacting to problems instead of moving forward with purpose

  • Clear that things need to change, but stuck on how

  • Tired of trying to figure everything out on your own

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone - and you don’t have to do it alone either.

Many of the challenges business owners face sit across four key areas - the same areas I focus on when helping clients move forward.

“Customers, communities, and policymakers agree: small businesses deserve strong backing. Professional support isn’t a luxury - it’s a necessity.”

HOW I CAN HELP YOU

I work as a business consultant and coach with small business owners across a range of industries - with a particular specialism in the horticulture and landscaping sector.

Many small business owners reach a point where they feel stuck, unsure how to grow, or overwhelmed by the day-to-day demands of running their business.

Some clients need space to think and talk through decisions. Others want structured support to develop strategy, improve business performance and build stronger systems. Many benefit from both.

That’s why my work blends consulting, coaching and practical business development - helping you step back, gain clarity and then move forward with confidence.

Many advisors focus on either consulting or coaching - my work combines both. Rather than delivering a report and stepping away, or simply holding coaching conversations, I help business owners think clearly about their direction and priorities, then support them as those plans turn into practical action.

My approach is simple and supportive, built on three things:

  • Clarity - a clear understanding of what matters most

  • Structure - a plan you can trust and follow

  • Support - consistent guidance and encouragement

Everything I do is built on my clear Business Management Framework - the foundations your business needs, and the four core pillars that keep it healthy:

Strategy, Customers, Operations and People.

It’s a practical model that helps you understand where you want to be, where you are now and where you focus your time and energy.
